She discussed a thesis in civil law entitled Does the contractual cause exist? which she wrote under the supervision of Professor Massimo Franzoni. The thesis focused on contracts and a comparison between Italy and France.

After a whole academic year at the French University of Paris Ouest Nanterre, where she had the opportunity to improve the language and broaden her knowledge of French law, she obtained the French title License III.

In 2019, after another period of study at the above-mentioned French university, she obtained a Master 2 bilingue des droits de l’Europe and specialised in Italian-French law.

During the university years, she worked as an intern in an important international law firm in Bologna and, before moving to MMSLEX in Milan, she spent six months in Marseilles practising law in a French law firm that specializes in business law and Italian-French law.

In September 2020, she started working for the law firm MMSLEX. Her work concentrates mainly on private international law, European law, civil and commercial litigation, and international commercial contracts, with a particular focus on relations between Italy and France.

She is currently enrolled in the Register of Trainee Lawyers of the Bologna Bar Association.

Elena Borsari works fluently in Italian, French and English.
