Lia Meroni graduated magna cum laude from the University of Milan in 2003.

She spent a period of study in Paris at the Université René Descartes (Paris V), during which she deepened her knowledge of the French legal system.

She has been admitted to the Milan Bar since 2006.

Before founding MMSLex, Lia Meroni worked with leading law firms, including international ones (Curtis Mallet Prevost Colt & Mosle, Ermanno Rho & Associati, DLA Piper and Studio Legale Beccaria & Capurro). She was also a visiting lawyer at the Law Firm of Daniel Falck y Asociados in Buenos Aires.

She has collaborated with the Labour Law Chair of the University of Milan as an expert in the subject and has attended a one-year Master’s degree course in International Affairs & Diplomacy at the I.S.P.I. in Milan, during which she has enriched her legal, economic and linguistic curriculum, thus refining that particular sensitivity towards foreign clients that has always accompanied her professional career.

Lia Meroni offers her clients, both Italian and foreign, her experience and expertise in the field of labour, trade union and social security law, with an activity that extends from the industrial, commercial and banking areas to the handling of labour relations in particular sectors such as hôtellerie, fashion, large-scale distribution, technology and health care.

She is a member of AGI (Associazione Giuslavoristi Italiani) and works fluently in Italian, French, English, Spanish and Portuguese.
